The brief
MODULE import to order in Accra — foreign used cars on one side, construction machinery and genuine spare parts on the other. The two halves share an owner and a standard, and very little else.
A conventional homepage would have had to lead with one division and demote the other, or blend them into something that spoke to neither. Someone shopping for a Camry and someone sourcing a HOWO tipper are not the same visitor.
What we built
The homepage is a portal rather than a pitch. It states the shared standard once, then splits cleanly into Division 01 and Division 02, letting visitors self-select in a single click instead of scrolling past stock that is irrelevant to them.
It is hand-coded — no framework, no build step. For an audience browsing on Ghanaian mobile data, shipping plain HTML and CSS was the faster answer, and it deploys to Cloudflare as static files.
- Portal homepage routing to Automobile or Construction rather than compromising between them
- Hand-coded, no framework — a minimal payload for mobile data
- Brand marques as trust signals — Toyota, Honda, Haval, Jetour and Changan alongside HOWO, Shacman and Foton
- Each division gets its own section, with its own imagery and language
- Static deploy on Cloudflare, with no server to keep alive
